The blessed olive tree was mentioned in the Holy Quran, and is considered a major component in every Palestinian cuisine, and it represents a symbol of challenge and and resistance.
Emleson Branches in Ras Al Amoud, Jabal Al Mokaber and Isaweya have decided to live this event of the year through several activities, including showing the children the whole cycle of processing olives and oil, singing and playing folkloric music related to olives harvesting, making soap, in addition to preparing some famous dishes that use olive oil like Manakesh.
Worth mentioning that parents were invited to join their children in these activities.
Such activities are important to keep reminding people and teaching children, that olive trees are not normal trees, they are part of our culture and dignity.
